Hop on board with Captain Joe for an action-packed day of inshore fishing! Saint Bernard is home to plenty of fish-filled canals and bays that are great spots for catching some tasty Gulf Coast fish without venturing too far from the dock.

On this 6-hour trip, Captain Joe will cruise you through some of these productive inshore waters where you'll be primarily targeting Redfish and Speckled Trout. Venturing a bit into the nearshore waters will
give you opportunities to reel in some Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead and more. All you need to use for these fish is classic light tackle. This trip is great for beginners, and experienced anglers are also sure to benefit from some of Captain Joe's expert tips and knowledge of the water!

Captain Joe fishes aboard a 24’ Blue Wave center console with a capacity for 5 people. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, this vessel will have no problem getting you to hard to reach spots in the inshores! She comes complete with all the necessities including GPS, Fishfinder and a Live Bait Well. Captain Joe will even clean any keepers for you to take home!

Captain Joe will provide all rods, reels, and tackle. All you need to bring is any food or drinks you might want, and feel free to bring any of your own lures. Book your trip today and get ready for a productive day on the Gulf Coast!

Fish for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead and more aboard Captain Joe's 2016 24’ Blue Wave center console that fishes 5 guests comfortably. Powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots, this boat gets you there fast and dry. The vessel features life jackets for safety, a live well for bait, and a GPS for finding fish.

Captain Joe normally fishes light tackle utilizing popping corks, bottom fishing, jigging, and sometimes trolling.

Captain Joe will provide you with rods, reels, and tackle, and live bait. You're encouraged to bring an ice chest, a hat, and polarized sunglasses, and please don't forget to purchase your Louisiana saltwater fishing licenses online.

Captain Joe will also have light snacks and drinks on board, and will clean and fillet your catch. As Captain Joe likes to say, "You Got To Hook Dat To Cook Dat”!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).
If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
