Head out with Captain Travis for an exciting day of big game fishing in Mexico! This isn't your typical fishing trip; here you'll be going extra deep into the Yucatan to target some serious big game fish. Captain Travis is a US born guide whose passion for fishing brought him to Cancun, and he fishes hard and with skill to make sure his customers get some bites!

On this 4 to 10-hour trip, Captain Travis will cruise you into the nearshore or deep offshore waters where you'll be targeting serious big game fish including Cobia, Cubera Snapper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Sailfish, Snowy Grouper, Swordfish, Tilefish, and Wahoo. You can go after these fish with various methods such as heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging and deep dropping. Just let Captain Travis know what you want to catch and he'll get you set up with the best method and provide some of his expert tips!

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain Travis's 25’ Panga with capacity for 4 anglers. Powered by a 60 HP 4 stroke Suzuki engine, this vessel is designed for fishing harder than any large sport fisher and for a fraction of the cost. She's equipped with GPS, Fishfinder, Snorkeling Equipment, a Live Bait Well, Multimedia System, Outriggers, Spearfishing Equipment, and an Ice Box. She also boasts a Lindgren-Pitman S-1200 electric fishing reel with state-of-the-art technology that allows anglers to fish deeper than anyone else (300-1900ft)!

Captain Travis will provide all rods, reels, tackle and live bait. All you need to bring is a Cancun fishing license and any food or drinks you might need. We recommend also bringing a hat, sunscreen, and polarized sunglasses. Come aboard with Captain Travis and he won't quit until you've reeled in a fish!

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Travis will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
