About Your Trip

Cancun, Mexico, is one of the best locations in the world for inshore fishing, whether you're going after Mangrove Snappers, Kingfish, Barracuda, or other species, there's always a ton of action! On this charter fishing trip, you'll be accompanied by Captain Travis, an experienced and knowledgeable angler who knows the waters off the coast of Cancun like the back of his hand. He will be taking you out on his 25' Argos center console, a state-of-the-art vessel and certified fish-slayer that is ideal for inshore and close nearshore trips.

Your trip will begin with an early morning meet-up with Captain Travis at the marina, where he'll give you a quick rundown of what to expect during the trip. Then you'll head to the boat and get to it! After motoring out to the fishing grounds, you'll start casting out for your target species.

One of the primary targets for this charter fishing trip is Barracuda, a popular game fish that is prized for its fighting spirit and toothy look. 'Cuda are common all over the Gulf Coast of Mexico, and can be caught on a variety of bait and lures. As an ambush predator, these fish hit hard, so be ready! You'll also be able to catch Mackerel, certain kinds of Snappers, Groupers, Triggerfish, and more!

Whatever species you want to target, let Travis know and he can put you on 'em! No matter what you're fishing for, you're sure to have a blast in this beautiful location. Get out there and get after it!

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Travis will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
