Captain David specializes in running light tackle and fly fishing charters for redfish, speckled
trout and flounder. Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner, USCG licensed Captain David customizes each inshore fishing charter to his client's level of experience, and of course, kids are always welcome. The South Carolina coast consists of a network of bays, rivers, creeks, marshes and flats creating a. His charters are convenient to Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island.

Customers will fish out of Captain David's 17' Mitzi Skiff which is specifically designed to be able to chase inshore sportfish up into shallow water creeks and on the flooded marsh flats. Penn Conflict reels and Shimano rods are provided for spinning gear while Ross reels and G-Loomis rods are provided for fly fishing charters. Depending on the season and customer preference, Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder can be caught by utilizing an array of tactics including live bait and artificial lures. Whether you're wanting to cast a fly for a tailing red or a just looking to relax and catch fish, David will customize your trip to ensure your fishing experience in Charleston will be a memorable one.

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
