Launch aboard one of the nicest boats in Charleston Harbor in Captain Bentley's fully decked out 43ft Albermarle Express. With your experienced Captain at the helm, this boat drives like a 50' Sportfish. It's fast, clean, and comfortable and comes loaded with only the highest quality fishing gear, equipment, and amenities. Scroll through the pictures above to see for yourself.

These extended day offshore adventures, depart from Tolers Cove Marina at 5am and run out
around 50 - 60 miles. This can take anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hours depending on sea conditions, but it is well worth the haul. You'll be riding comfortably aboard one of the nicest boats in Charleston Harbor and get 7+ hours of Bottom fishing and trolling for big specimens in 250 to 2000 feet of water. These trips produce pelagics like Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin, and Tuna. return to dock at 5pm.

For these extended day offshore adventures, you will meet up with Captain Bentley before well before sunrise to get ready for a 5am depature. After you get settled in, and Captain Bentley cranks up his twin 700 HP Caterpillar engines you will motor out around 60 miles offshore to do some trolling, bottom fishing, and fish catching!

You are welcome to get as involved as you would like with your adventure as well, whether you'd rather lounge and enjoy the comfortable cabin until the reel starts screaming or if you want your hand on the rod the whole time, Captain Bentley can make it happen!

Captain Bentley's 43’ Albemarle Express Sport Fisherman. She has twin Caterpillar C-12 diesel engines that allow for a 28 knot cruises. Plenty of room in the cockpit, and the “helm deck” is air-conditioned. Comfortable seating throughout. A salon is below with a full head and seating area. Plenty of drink boxes and the galley has a microwave, sink, 2 refrigerators, and 2 freezers. There are two large fish boxes, a tower with second driving station, and the boat has all modern electronics; Garmin GPS, Garmin Sonar/Sounder, with Chirp Transducer, Radar, Auto Pilot, and 3 Marine VHF radios. Great stereo system with SiriusXM radio that is bluetooth connectable to your own music play list. The boat exceeds All USCG safety equipment requirements, including an EPIRB. She is fast, roomy and comfortable, and provides a very nice ride to the fishing grounds, as well as a stable and comfortable fishing platform.

Beyond superior service and luxurious amenities, Captain Bentley also only provides the highest quality rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Thus, all you need to bring is your favorite lunch, snack, drink, sun protection, maybe a towel, and your camera! Otherwise, Captain Bentley will take care of the rest to make the most of your Charleston offshore adventure!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
