Captain Randy will take you boat or wade fishing on some of the most pristine bays in Texas. It doesn't matter if your preference is bait fishing or using artificial lures, Captain Randy is an expert at both. He can also teach you how to properly use your bait and improve your skills to catch bigger fish.

Enjoy Texas Gulf Coast fishing in the saltwater bays and flats surrounding Rockport, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas and Ingleside, Texas with Captain Randy. Fish for Monster-sized redfish, trophy trout, and flounder in Copano, St. Charles, Redfish, Aransas, Mesquite, San Antonio, and South bays.

While redfish and spotted seatrout are the main focus of Captain Randy, it is important to be prepared for anything. It is not uncommon to have opportunities at jack crevalle, black drum, sheepshead, flounder, triple tail, lady fish, spanish and king mackerel, false albacore, sharks, and even tarpon

Captain Randy is a full-time professional guide who fishes Texas inshore bays from Rockport to Baffin Bay and specializes in wade and drift fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish and Flounder using artificial lures or bait. Let Captain Randy guide you across the pristine Texas bays in search of giant tailing redfish and trophy size speckled trout.

All charters are provided with top of the line tackle, a brand new spotless, clean boat, and a knowledgeable, friendly captain. Texas offers world class bay fishing every month of the year and whether you prefer fly fishing, lure fishing or live bait fishing, Texas is the place.

The Texas "big three" species consist of Redfish, Flounder and Speckled Trout. It is not uncommon to catch dozens of these hard fighting fish each trip with a good possibility at scoring what locals label the "Texas Grand Slam", one or more of each species in one day.

Aside from the Texas "big three," there are countless other species to catch so you never know what to expect. Depending on the time of year, you might find Tarpon, Bluefish, Black Drum, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle or Sharks bending your rod!

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
