About Your Trip

Climb aboard a stunning 38ft Rampage Sportfish with Captain Brandon and motor offshore to exlpore the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Galveston, TX. Expect to target kingfish, sharks, snapper, ling, mahi-mahi, and tripletail on your 8-hour (half-day) and have opportunities and bigger pelagics on the 12-hour (full day) action-packed adventure. Captain Brandon has an eye for kingfish. Take his advice and he’ll lead you to where the fish are biting!

Captain Brandon uses a 38’ Rampage offshore sportfishing boat. This vessel can accommodate up to 6 anglers and runs on a boat 1,050 HP Caterpillar C-9 engine. This boat is built for comfort, boasting a kitchen, toilet, shower, bed, and air conditioning. She also has a refrigerator and an icebox. You’ll also have a first mate to help you at all times.

Captain Brandon requires you to bring a valid Texas Fishing License with a saltwater stamp. You’re also more than welcome to bring snacks and an ice chest (no bottles). Alcohol is acceptable as well (no liquor).

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
