If you've been "feeling the bug" and wanting to hook up some hard-fighting pelagic sportfish, there's no better place to do it. This trip with Captain JW is a perfect opportunity to chase a new trophy Marlin, Mahi, and Wahoo, as well as giant bottomfish including Amberjack and several kinds of Grouper.

You'll try different techniques, including trolling, bottomfishing, and jigging in order to hit different species. No matter your experience level, you're in good hands with Captain JW and his dedicated crew. You'll be aboard his 35' Bertram sportfisher, which is a perfect boat for a big offshore trip. She's got an enclosed, climate-controlled cabin and she's powered by twin Caterpillar engines to get you out there fast!

Everything is provided by Captain JW and his crew, from rods and tackle to expert guidance and tips. All the deckhands and crew members tirelessly work to ensure that you as guests are comfortable on the boat and busy catching your favorite fish. All deckhands will help you with rigging your lines, baiting your hook, teaching those with less experience proper fishing techniques, offering those who may get sick small comforts, cleaning your fish, and so much more.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
