If you're looking for an absolutely epic offshore sportfishing trip, you're in the right place. With 24 hours at your disposal, the world is truly your oyster when you climb aboard Captain Lane's 42' Freeman. This oversized catamaran center console is an offshore angler's dream vessel, combining comfort and space with speed and fishability. Not to mention, with quad 300 Yamahas strapped to the back, Captain Lane can get this puppy cranking up to 65 knots!

On these trips, you'll be targeting Tuna out on the Midnight Knob, roughly 170 miles offshore. Although Tuna feeding patterns are hard to predict, you'll try your luck in the early morning hours, when they come to the surface to feed.
Most overnight trips will involve some bottom fishing and trolling during the afternoon as you make your way offshore. You can catch billfish and other pelagics, such as Wahoo and Mahi Mahi, on your way out!

Once the sun starts to go down, you're welcome to get comfy in a bean bag and snooze if you'd like as Captain Lane will start ripping it offshore. You'll run out deep as the sun sets to get into position for the early morning bite around 3-4 AM.

As mentioned, Captain Lane's 42' Freeman is equipped with bean bags for your lounging pleasure on the way offshore, and also comes with all the best rods, reels, electric reels, and tackle you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Get out there and knock some species off your bucket list!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
