The nearshore bite has been great the last few weeks and should continue through August! Kingfish, tarpon, sharks, cobia and sailfish! The weather is hot but the August bite should match.

We have been having a blast here in Jacksonville catching Redfish and Flounder. We have been targeting rock structure as well as fishing up in the marshes. Most of the fish have been caught using a wide variety of live bait such as shrimp, mullet, and blue crabs.

The 6hr king fish bite has been good this summer! Multiple fish with one 25lbs. Sail fish and cobia has also been caught.

I had an awesome time with Tom and little Captain Walker today! What started as a 4 hour off shore trip turned into an absolute catch fest.
I can honestly say this was one of the most fun trips we've had all year. Walker kept everyone competitive by making up a point system where different species were worth different points... except Grandpa claimed the rules weren't exactly fair!
We spent the day laughing, catching fish, and making memories. Hopefully we got little Captain Walker hooked on fishing for life!
P.S. Walker took home the win with 20 points!
