Bull Reds, Bull Reds, Bull Reds
It's very hot outside and and the bay water temperature is threw the roof. Finding moving water has been the key to success. Fishing deep grass flats close to the jetties has produced some keeper trout in a mostly dead bay. The one thing that has kept my clients and I going through this heat is the bull reds. Anywhere there is deep water and good current bull reds have been crushing their favorite prey. They have been plentiful with opportunities to catch them on live bait, plastics, and even fly if an angler can show some patience. Long fights and screaming drags is a great way to end the Summer!

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous and one of the prettiest June and Julys we've had in a long time. The water is clean, clear and hot and the beaches are absolutely beautiful!
