Pike are shallow and mad, and the average size is great. The Okoboji Chain has a super high prevalence of a typically rare genetic mutation causing the lakes to have a lot of silver pike, which is cool too.

Some great panfish action out deep on West Okoboji with some live bait and some artificials. As well as some good largemouth and pike action both shallow in the docks and deep. Now would be a great time to get out!
