Last 12 days with strong winds and cold weather found plenty of trout during my last 10 trips. The reds are a little slow for the season and trout running big. Caught many 18.5 to 21 inch trout

Dust off your 10wt - the big girls are in the marsh, the water has dropped out, and the forage is plentiful. As the days get cooler, the fishing gets hotter down here in South Louisiana. The bull reds and jacks are schooling by the tens and even hundreds some days.
