Dennis Fishing Reports (April 2024)

The fishing in Cape Cod Bay has been crazy good. We are finding stripe bass from 23 inches up to 41 inches. In Mass we have a slot rule so in order to take home a bass, it has to be between 28 inches and under 31 inches. We have been jigging or as I like to say, Cape Cod Cardio, on the shoals. This has been producing the best results. The jigging can be challenging however when the line go tight, all is forgotten. Just last week we were able to knock off a bucket list request and he hit for his first stripe bass which was 33 inches. A nice photo shoot and back it went In to the water.
