Fishing offshore has been nothing short of incredible. Fast limits and big fat fish are plentiful. Dipseys with spoons fishing 45 feet down is about as fast as you can get the rods set. I had a trip 2 days ago casting worm harnesses in 74 feet of water. It was really fun setting the hook on them 50 feet down. We are fishing from Fairport Harbor to Ashtabula.

Big Cat Time!
A heart-felt thank you to Capt. Mark Spencer of Big Kats Fishing Adventures for running my catfish trip today.
First time customer Joshua Akers wanted to bring his sons to do some catfish reeling, yeah…they did a lot of that! Capt. Mark said the Family was great to have on the boat!
The Sandusky Bay yielded a solid bounty of cats for the Akers Family.
Plenty of open cat spots for you and your team!

Fishing is incredible from Lorain to Geneva right now. We've been running dipseys with spoons and wire to catch our limits. Quick limits every trip. We've also had some steelhead mixed in with the walleye

The bite continues to be consistent now that the spawn is complete . The Walleyes are making their move to the summer waters , being on the move almost daily but we've managed to catch limits on a daily basis when the winds prevail for us to be out . Most of the fish we're catching now are from 4-6lbs with usually an 8-9lb mixed in on most days . We're fishing shoreline contours anywhere from 20'-35' of water pulling crankbaits behind Offshore Tackle Planer Boards . Hope to see you guys on the water this year !

The weather finally broke a little for the better this week. First tournament of the year is this Saturday. We were able to get out last couple days. The fish are getting ready for the spawning season. For us on Erie that means one thing the possibility of a true giant. The first trip didn't disappoint anchored by a true trophy 30 inch fish. Slow trolling p-10 crank baits was the key. The fishing should be incredible for the next 6 weeks

Captain Bob went above and beyond trying to put us on some fish. Eventually we were able to pull some in. Not the mother load but a great time just the same! My 9 year old is now hooked (yes pun intended) on walleye fishing. Thanks, BJ, Beth, and Gus
