It was a good day on the river. We got this 14lb Up River Bright early in the day. It was a beautiful sunny day on the river and the clients were great to fish with.

Good morning guys! We had a really fun day on the Columbia River today. Released a really nice native Chinook and got our hatchery limit all before 8:30 this morning.

Spring chinook have started to show up in the local rivers around Portland. Targeting them with trolling tactics has begun to work well. A herring behind a flasher works well. Fishing will continue to improve for these amazing fish over the next few weeks and coming months.

We were given a one day keeper sturgeon on February 16th. Had a great crew out and they will be going home with some sturgeon. I'm not sure when or if we will get another keeper day this year. But we can always catch and release these fun hard fighting...
