Our October has been great so far. Redfish and flounder have been great using artificial lures and live shrimp along the grass lines, marsh drains and reefs.

Bull Reds are great right now! Last Sunday we ran a Bay/Inshore trips and had a fish almost every cast. Lots of nice fish around right now.

Redfish and trout have been great near the passes and over submerged reefs and other bottom structures, using artificial lures and live shrimp.

Gigging has been good with limits of flounder and with some good sheepshead, blue crab, stone crab claws and gar kickers. Water has been really clear in Galveston and matagorda area with the low winds in between tides.

Fishing had been excellent for tuna, mahi-mahi, and now Amberjack since season has open. Still lot exciting fish catch now.

Speckled trout have been great around the San Luis pass/West Galveston Bay Area on live shrine and soft plastic artificial lures.

Upper slot Reds have been good on top waters in the morning and floundering has been good at night in Freeport Tx!

Fishing in the Freeport/West Galveston Bay area has been great! Redfish and flounder can be caught along the grass lines with live shrimp and a popping cork. Trout have been good along the guts and sand flats using artificial and live bait

Still catching big snapper along with Mahi-mahi, kingfish and tuna. Last couple days of snapper season left then will be chasing Amberjack starting Sept. 1st.

The fishing has been good. Catching lots of nice trout on finger mullet in the bays. Early morning top water bite has been excellent for big redfish and trout. Flounder gigging trips have also had good success.
