The bay fishing has been good throughout the past weeks. Catching speckled trout on both live and artificial baits. Especially in that Margarita Green Water they love so much. Redfish have been tougher lately but still hooking some solid reds when the wind kicks up. Snook are being caught on the south end of our bay system when the tides are active. It's a good time of the year to get the kids hooked up on some nice fish and create some lasting memories.

The black drum are here also, just harder to find when the winds stir everything up. This is a great time of the year to get on down here around South Padre and wet a line for redfish. The end on May has always been a prime time to speckled trout fish. Those spring winds tend to die off and the speckled trout are thick in areas
Our day with Cliff was great. Our group was two dads with 2 seven year olds. The kids had the best time. They each caught a few fish and he was incredibly patient and kind with them as they learned. We will be back.
