We hit a giant spinning tackle fish with this family from Alabama. The action was steady and we ended up with 26 keepers and we threw back another 20 over 15 pounds.

We have been after fast action and eating size fish lately due to the spawn but still catching some nice ones. We predominantly use spinning gear and fish the shallow tailrace area around rocks.

Lots of nice 10-13 inch fish! Averaging 20-25 keepers (and many more landed) per trip. Some nice bass and catfish in the mix as well.

We recently fished a few days on the Mississippi near New Orleans. Storms chased us off the water early but we landed some nice fish. We typically do trips down there in the fall, it's the best catfishing in the world. Not uncommon to catch over a thousand pounds of fish in a day.

The post-spawn bite is on!!Lots of crappie last week here in Chsttanooga, with a high percentage of 13-16 inch fish.

This week we had a great family and friends trip on a 2 boat trip we boated over 60 fish with several being large fish which we release after pictures and they also kept around 40 smaller fish for a fish fry!

Had an awesome time with Jason last week on Guntersville Lake we caught a 75,58,57,42,30 pounder along with some smaller ones dragging cut skipjack in 30-40ft of water.
Had a blast with Copeli and her family from KY! Copeli landed a 60 pounder for our efforts and it truly was a blessing to be able to spend the day with her! She is a special girl and a true outdoors enthusiast!
