The bite has been consistent. The mornings have produced some big Kingfish early and some monster Amberjacks mid day. Barracudas are everywhere right now. On the bottom, there have been some really big Mutton Snapper, nice Mangrove Snapper in a little shallower. An occasional Sailfish or two have been showing up late afternoon. The Mahi are way out deep, about 10 miles offshore with some small schools of big Blackfin Tuna. The Sharks were gone for the last 10 days but are now back, hanging out around the deeper shipwrecks. We caught two huge Black Groupers a few days ago and pulled the hook on several smaller ones.

Sailfish and mahi-mahi have been showing up consistently; live baiting and trolling have been working very effectively; no need to head too far offshore. All these fish are on the reef or no further than the 50 line. Use fresh baits. Book a three-quarter day trip to give your crew enough time to put you on a fish of a lifetime. Springtime is here, big smoker. Kingfish should be showing up soon, and don't forget, folks, summer is here.

BIG FISH, BIG NUMBERS, and BIG FUN!!. Chad and Ryan worked their butts off to make sure we were on fish early and often. We caught King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Black Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Tilefish and a big Golden Amberjack. truly a great day out on the water with lots of great pictures and memories to share. Highly recommended and will go again when we are back in the Miami area. Thanks Chad and Ryan, what an amazing day.

Captain Cris is the real deal. Knows these waters like the back of his hand and put our family on fish the whole trip — 9 species total. We warmed up on Jack Crevalle in the inlet, then headed out to the tuna. Once the bite was on we had multiple fish on at a time. Almost limited out on tuna and landed a 100 lb Greater Amberjack on top of it. An unbelievable day. Don’t hesitate to book him — you won’t be disappointed.

Cris provided an incredible fishing experience for my family. The tour started promptly and he was prepared for everything. Cris was very knowledgeable about the waters and all the different fish types. Within minutes we were already on fish. We were all novice anglers, but he set us up for success. We did a 2 hour tour which was perfect for my family (wife, 7 year old daughter, 9 year old son). I would go every day if I could. If you want a relaxed atmosphere, good company, and great fishing - look no further.

His flexible schedule made it easy for us to pick times that worked for me and my son, which we really appreciated. If you’ve got kids, they’ll be in great hands- he’s definitely got that “dad mode” dialed in, and my son had an awesome time. We were catching fish every few minutes, and he cleaned some yellowjack and moonfish right at the dock, both of which we were eating within an hour. Would absolutely reach out to him again next time we’re in town!

Had the privilege on going out on a charter with Captain Crist. Unfortunately, our previous captain had some issues and canceled our trip last minute. Luckily Captain Crist was able to put us in and we had an absolute blast not only did he come in clutch but he was very knowledgeable and honestly great soul to be around.
