Last few weeks have been amazing!!! 3 days of very cold waters down 40.4 degrees. During which we had to literally put the bait a few inches from their mouth.

Last 12 days with strong winds and cold weather found plenty of trout during my last 10 trips. The reds are a little slow for the season and trout running big. Caught many 18.5 to 21 inch trout

We had a good day on the water with Mike! A weather front was moving through the area on our day to fish, so consequently the bite was inconsistent. We were able catch several fish, bringing in 8 fish to clean. The fish we caught were spotted trout and white trout. I was hoping to catch a sheep head and some red fish, but they were not biting that day. The highlight of the day was catching a small stingray. I’ve never seen one in the wild before so that was pretty neat. Of course we had to release him. I have been with many guides and Mike was very professional.

James is a true captain that has the fisherman in mind at all times. First he knows the area and is safe. He worked hard to get us on fish and we tried several areas before we were successful. He found the fish though and then we stayed to get some in the box. I have been on many fishing trips and James is at the top of my list. He is personable and cares about his clients.
