Kite season is here! The water has cooled down as well as the air temp making ideal fishing conditions. Combine this with the prevalent East wind pushing debris and the Pelagic fish close to shore. The Sailfish have started to show up as well as the big smoker Kings. There have been random Dolphin close to shore with the occasional Blackfin Tuna in 200-350'. Bonita Tuna have been plentiful in shallow around 50'. The Cudas are everywhere out to 400' and we have been getting them deep on live baits. We are still getting Goliath Grouper bites although we haven't...

Bonita Tuna have been plentiful in shallow around 50'. The Cudas are everywhere out to 400' and we have been getting them deep on live baits. We are still getting Goliath Grouper bites although we haven't landed one in two weeks. We fought one for 2 and a half hours the other night only to get cut off on the shipwreck. Big Bull Sharks have been around, we released 4 last week up to 400 pounds. I love this time of year, it's not hot, it's not cold, the Pelagic fish are close to shore and next month the Swordfish bite is gonna get hot. Swordfish can be caught year round but the best time is October through February, I can't wait! We still have a couple openings for the rest of the week and weekend. Let's catch a Monster!
Patch reef fishing has been great and will just get better as the winter time fronts keep pushing down. Plenty of action with a large variety of fish. Snapper, and grouper are the targets but there are plenty more mixed in. Last trip we got some nice mutton snapper and some grouper.

Swordfishing between the cold fronts on a calm day are very productive. Last trip we caught 4 out of 6 bites. Some big ones around and one of my favorite fish to eat. They call them the gladiator of the sea for a reason! Fish on average weighing in at around 200 lbs. so make sure to bring a big cooler for your fillets.

A fun 4 hour morning reef trip today. We got throw back groupers (2 Short Reds and a protected Nassau) some delicious yellow jacks. This Angler got to fight some sharks too. The water was 1-2ft waves and we fished between 15ft and 80ft of water

Mahi has been good anywhere from 500 to 1000 ft off key largo. Fish have been 15 to 20 lbs with plenty of schoolies in the mix. Trolling feathers pink and blue tipped with bonita strips. Small blackfin on tuna flies trolled behind the spread.

Captain Charles was the best! Even though the fish weren’t biting we had the best time. The iguana hunting was a blast. Can’t wait for our next trip Miami to go back out with Captain Charles
This dude is the whole package. Punctual, prepared, and exceptional at his craft. He knows where to fish and hunt he knows every species. He had all the right equipment and it was the best fishing experience I've ever been on!!
He was very attentive to my kid as well being sure that he had every opportunity. We caught some great fish and shot all the iguana we wanted!
Captain Charles showed us a great time, he is really into the techniques of fishing and hunting iguana. He was a great guide and we made some really fun memories.
For my son’s 15th birthday, he and I charted a trip with Captain Charles. He did a great job of putting us on our target species and helping us to success.
