Weather is kinda cooling down...well low 90s instead of upper 90s. Fish are firing off with redfish, snook, flounder and more... like an inshore/river kingfish (king mackerel) get it while the bite is good.

With most of my focus sight fishing and throwing top waters at first light we have mostly been catching Big Trout and Reds. We did get a couple of king fish in the inlet. Lots of Bull Reds in the inlet right now and for the next couple of months.

Trout fishing continues to be very good with many larger over 20 inch fish being caught in the Mosquito Lagoon mostly using pig fish. We’re seeing groups of tailing redfish on the grass edges of the shallow flats large schools of Spanish mackerel and Bonita have been running. The beaches can be caught using a small drone spoon. The mullet run should be kicking off anytime now. Look for large schools of Mullett along the beach getting crashed by Tarpon, Jacks and King Fish. I have dates available.

The fall mullet run is starting up with bait all over the river and the beach. Tarpon and big jacks have been on the bait pods off the beach. Snook and redfish will be schooled up at the inlet over the next couple months as we get into the best fishing of the year!
