Fishing Report: The bay fishing has been tougher lately than past years. Catching lots of speckled trout in the 16 inch range. September 1 the regulations are supposed to go back to old regulations of 5 per person and 15 inch minimum. Early September will be a good time to...

Fishing Report: The bay fishing has been tougher lately than past years. Catching lots of speckled trout in the 16 inch range. September 1 the regulations are supposed to go back to old regulations of 5 per person and 15 inch minimum. Early September will be a good time to come down here to South Padre and catch speckled trout on artificial plastics. Catching some redfish in deeper water on fresh cut bait. Black drum are moving up the channels and deeper water.

Trout fish has continued to be great, on live and artificial baits still seeing some big trout. We are starting to see some reds a flounder are starting to be caught as well it's been a heck of a start to this season.

Trout fishing has been on fire with live Croacker. Reds are starting to love around as well. Should be able to hit reds with gold spoons or cut bait.
