The cobia are starting to move into the bay pretty thick! And they are eating white bait and pretty much any other baits if they are hungry enough! Trout bite continues to stay consistent with many gator trout and keeper's being put into boat! And they are eating shrimp, pinfish and white bait in the flats! The night time gag grouper bite has been no stop and they are eating anything we throw at them! To many to count and we are getting them in all depths in the bay and bridges. Mackerel bite has been on fire with xxl macs eating all the white baits we throw at them at any depths! Snook action at night time and day time has been super consistent and they are eating jigs and live bait! Catching them in flats and on bridges.
Groupers have been chewing consistently, and they are eating everything right now—cut bait, live bait, and artificials. Speckled trout have made a comeback in the bay area, and we are seeing a lot of overslots more consistently every day! Good eating meat in the box! They are eating live pinfish, shrimp, and white bait like they have never seen them before. Big black drums are showing up in good numbers on the bridges, and they are slamming the artificial and cut crabs. The snook and redfish are getting back to their normal spring patterns of eating cut bait, white bait,...

The snook, trout and redfish have been on fire especially on the warmer days with some of the larger fish coming out to play! Docks ant mangrove tree lines have been producing well. With the docks also producing sheepshead which are great table fair.

What an unforgettable experience!! We had so much fun and caught so many fish with Captain George- I’m also pretty sure he might actually be a fish whisperer! He was so personable and accommodating. We have fallen in love with this area and can’t wait to come back next year- and you can bet that we will definitely be booking another fishing trip! Thanks for the memories, Captain George!!
Wonderful time on the water. Captain George was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and active in catching all types of inshore fish. Definitely would use again.
We had a great morning on the water with Captain George. He put us over fish right away. First cast went into the cooler! He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We enjoyed our time on his boat!
We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain George! We had several other fishermen passing through that were going on about how it was a “tough day” but not with Captain George!! He put us right on the fish! He was always aware of his surroundings, watching the schools of bait fish, and making sure we were in the most optimal spot. He was very knowledgeable about all of the species we caught throughout the day. We were having such a blast that we added an extra hour to onto our trip, which is when he put us on to the BIGGEST Spanish Mackerel I’ve ever seen!! Just to top it off, he was also very kind and caring. He never lost patience with me when he kept having to cast my pole into difficult spots, and he made sure to remind us to drink plenty of water and reapply sunscreen. At the end of the trip, as he was cleaning our fish, I began to overheat and he knew EXACTLY what to do. He stayed calm, let us stay for a while as I regained my strength, and even checked on me later on in the day. What an amazing experience, captain, and day!! 10/10! We will be fishing with Captain George when we are back this way, and will be referring all of our friends and family!
