With 400,000 sockeye salmon having entered the Nushagak River yesterday, bringing the total escapement to over 1 million for the year, the fishing prospects look very promising. Wonderful to see such a successful season—looks like excellent fishing will continue for the upcoming weeks. Book your trip today

I've concluded my Kalama river spring Chinook season. There's always next year. Most of my regulars fish the same day every year so there are limited spots available. Here's some photos from the season. This season runs second week in April through last weekday in May.

Patrick was absolutely fantastic! We just finished a sturgeon fishing trip with him, and it was easily one of the best fishing experiences we’ve ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Was a great experience for our almost 16 year old. He got to pull in multiple sturgeons and a few flounder. I especially appreciated that he truly let them participate and actually fish rather than just watching from the sidelines. We’ve been on fishing trips all around the world, and this experience genuinely stood out as one of the very best. Thank you!!! We highly recommend him!
