The weather is beautiful the ocean is calm. The fish are hungry. This time of year is typically the best fishing South Florida has to offer plenty of Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and even a bunch of Sailfish are still around. There are some Dolphin, but they are not as thick as they would normally be this time of year. Also, the bottom fishing has been on fire with the muttons spawning there are some quality size mutton being caught. The giant Sargasm that people have been talking about has really not made its full presence felt here in South Florida., But offshore there is plenty of weed line booked a trip and let's go!

Fishing in Gulf is great. And the bay fishing for goldfish has been quite good even on the two hour kids trips for our bay trip going after gulf fish like mango, snapper and flounder, and so forth is producing at least a good catch, if not better. I tend to angle towards the goldfish because they’re better eating, even when I’m going in the bay but if you want to go after the speckle trout and redfish, like the other, the guides I do are as good as they get, we’ve been doing quite well.

The bite has been a little off the past couple days I think because of the full moon. We did catch an amber jack and a good size mangrove snapper out in the golf today. Last month was a great month for vermilion snapper.

The bite has been slow trolling this week but bottom fishing is on fire! We have caught tile fish, snapper, AJs, almacos, triggers, white snapper and grouper! The seas have been rough 3 footers was our best day, most days 5 footers around 4/5 seconds and overcast! Hopefully some good weather is to come.
