Destin is the closest port launch to the deepwater you can find anywhere. This makes for not only a comfortable ride but also a quick ride, out to the deep water where the fish are abundant!
Once you've made it out deep enough, Captain TJ and his crew will either rig up the rods and outrigger to drag live bait or lures or set you up with circle hooks and weights to drop cut-bait down hundreds of feet to catch Snapper and other bottom dwellers. When trolling you can expect to catch Spanish Mackerel or King Mackerel, Tuna, and Wahoo!
Captain TJ offers a tremendously wide range of trip options, so whether you want to head out with your family for some vacation fun, or get serious with your boys and chase down the trophy fish of a lifetime, Captain TJ has got you covered!

...Read More closely when Tyler is explaining things. If you do, you will have more success than if you try and “figure it out”. We started out getting some bait fish, which was fun. We got to the point where we were catching 3 and 4 fish at a time. Then we moved on to bigger fish like Bonita and Snapper and then on to some Amberjack and then we caught an 8’ long shark, 200+ pounds. If you want you can keep the legal fish you catch and Tyler will clean them and bag them up for you. Some of the restaurants in the area will cook them up for you as well.

Captain TJ and deckhand AJ were great! We caught a lot of different types of fish (trolling and bottom fishing). I requested to try catching a shark and we ended up catching a nice sized shark, which was awesome.
