About Your Trip

The inshore flats of Florida are filled with fresh fish just waiting to be whacked! Take 4 of your friends and family out and spend half a day with Captain Chip on the beautiful inshore waters near Jacksonville Beach, FL. On this adventure you might come up with Black Drum, huge Flounder, Redfish, or a tasty Trout. Who knows, you might even hook a high-flying Tarpon! Freshly caught fish tastes way better after spending a day working to catch it yourself, so come on out and take home a delicious meal!

Captain Chip is a master of light tackle, and he will teach you all his tips and tricks on this voyage. You will be aboard his 24’ Seaborn, which is powered by a 250hp Yamaha engine. The boat is exceptionally agile, making it the perfect vessel for Captain Chip to navigate through the flats, taking you to the best fishing holes. She comes equipped with a live bait well and an icebox to store your catch.

Captain Chip will provide almost everything you need for an amazing adventure. He brings the rods, reels, bait, and tackle. You definitely want appropriate clothing and sun protection to maximize your fun on board, and feel free to bring snacks and drinks. This trip is an incredible opportunity to whack some fish!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
