A cuddy cabin is a boat design featuring a small, enclosed cabin within the vessel's structure. Typically located in the bow of the boat, this compartment provides a partially or fully enclosed space for shelter and storage. Cuddy cabins are commonly found in smaller powerboats, offering protection from the elements. Depending on the boat's size, the cuddy cabin may include seating that converts into a sleeping berth, such as a V-berth below the deck. Port and starboard windows are often incorporated to allow natural light and ventilation, and there is usually an access door for entry and exit.
