What is a Tuna Slam?

The Tuna Slam is a fishing challenge where anglers attempt to catch three or more species of tuna consisting of bigeye, bluefin, longtail, skipjack, southern bluefin, dogtooth, yellowfin, and blackfin tuna. Tuna are highly migratory by nature and can be spread out around the world which makes having a solid plan for timing and location crucial to attempting this slam. Australia and Japan in the Pacific, and the east coast of the U.S. in the Atlantic, have the most tuna species making them good options for a slam attempt.
