• What is Cut Bait?

Cut bait is made from baitfish, squid, shrimp, crab, or any common food source, which is then cut into chunks and used as bait. Bait can be caught with nets and traps or bought from a tackle shop frozen. The bait is then cut into pieces or scored to release more scent into the water at which point it’s attached to a hook dropped or cast into the water.
