he Shark Slam is a fishing challenge where anglers attempt to catch three or more species of sharks consisting of blacktip, blue, bull, hammerhead, mako, porbeagle, thresher, tiger, and tope sharks. Similar to many sportfish, sharks travel long distances so timing and location will be important for an attempt. Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and the U.S. are better suited for this slam because of the abundance of shark species.
