Captain Mike AKA Capt. Flounders is passionate in his pursuit to put together a nice box of fish. He welcomes Anglers of all experience levels. Captain Mike has been fishing Lake Pontchartrain, Biloxi Marsh and the surrounding areas since he was a child.
Captain Mike is the grandson of a career Charter Captain, and has learned countless lessons and cherishes memories of time spent navigating south east Louisiana waterways.

He has placed in a number of fishing rodeos throughout Southeast Louisiana. He is very knowledgeable in weather and tide conditions when preparing for your fishing trip.

We had a good day on the water with Mike! A weather front was moving through the area on our day to fish, so consequently the bite was inconsistent. We were able catch several fish, bringing in 8 fish to clean. The fish we caught were spotted trout and white trout. I was hoping to catch a sheep head and some red fish, but they were not biting that day. The highlight of the day was catching a small stingray. I’ve never seen one in the wild before so that was pretty neat. Of course we had to release him. I have been with many guides and Mike was very professional.

Captain Mike was Professional, Punctual and productive !! I will definitely use him again when I come to New Orleans. He has us limits out in an off season. He did not try to oversell us initially and then totally exceeded our expectations.

To top it off were eating fresh fish less than thirty minutes after we were docked !!
