I got started with land-based shark fishing after seeing some incredible catches shared by enthusiasts online. The idea of catching such a powerful predator from the shore intrigued me, so I invested in the right gear and started going on trips with more experienced friends who could show me the ropes. My best-ever catch was a 12-foot tiger shark I landed on a beach. It was an intense battle, and I had to use all my strength to bring it in. Releasing it back into the ocean was a rewarding moment, knowing I had successfully caught and safely released such an impressive creature.

Enjoy a nice trip fishing sharks from land! Just bring some snacks, drinks and they'll deliver baits 300-700 yards from the beach with the SwellPro drone or a kayak and all you'll have to do is reel them in!

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blacktip Shark, Lemon Shark, Nurse Shark, Thresher Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Mako Shark, Tiger Shark, and who knows what else!

Fernando can take groups as large as 20 on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Don't hesitate to send Fernando a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.

You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock, no matter the weather. Children are welcome to come along.

Fernando & his assistant were nice. We went in December which was very cold and we didn’t see any action. It was not at all what I expected. When we got to the beach, the rigs were all set up and baits were taken by kayak by the guides about 300 yards out. My 10 year old was bored very quickly by sitting in chairs, in the cold & dark.
