On this trip, you'll be targeting prized inshore species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, and the elusive Tripletail. Depending on the time of year and conditions, you might also spot other inshore favorites while cruising these nutrient-rich flats and estuaries.
Your adventure begins at Battery Park (also known locally as “10 ft Hole”), where you'll meet up with Captain Rudy. First up: catching fresh bait with a cast net to gear up for the day ahead. Then it's off to his handpicked honey holes—spots he’s been fishing for decades with a level of precision only a local like Rudy can deliver.
You’ll be fishing aboard his 24’ Kenner bay boat, powered by a beastly 300 HP Evinrude engine. This setup offers a smooth, stable ride across the bay and is perfectly suited for navigating shallow flats and nearshore areas alike.
Captain Rudy provides everything you need for a successful day on the water, including rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses. He’s also more than happy to tailor each trip to your group’s needs—whether you're looking for serious fishing or a more relaxed cruise under the sunset.
