Captain Gil has been on the water since the day he could walk. He started his career at the age of 14, working as a mate on the waters of the Delaware Bay fishing for Trout, Stripers and Flounder. However, soon the blue water called his name and he began working as a mate on the offshore canyon boats running out of Indian River Inlet. He soaked in the vast knowledge of some of the best captains on the East Coast while chasing Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Swordfish.

A few years later, Captain Gil took matters into his own hands and started his own charter service, running out of Delaware and eventually Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce, Florida. He put the knowledge that he had learned over the years to good use, and has become one of the best on the East Coast of the United States.
