About Your Trip
Take your fishing adventure to the next level with Rob and his team’s unforgettable floatplane fishing experience in the remote wilderness of Labrador. Designed for small groups of up to four anglers, this incredible trip takes you far beyond the road system to fish pristine waters that very few people ever get the chance to explore.
Your day begins with a scenic floatplane flight departing from a nearby location. As you lift off and head
into the rugged backcountry, you’ll take in breathtaking views of vast forests, glacial rock formations, winding rivers, and untouched lakes stretching as far as the eye can see. The flight itself is part of the adventure, offering a unique perspective of Labrador’s wild landscape before landing on a remote lake or river system.
Once on the water, Rob and his experienced team will guide you to some of the most productive trout waters in the region. These remote fisheries are home to massive speckled trout, known for their aggressive strikes and beautiful coloration. With very little fishing pressure in these areas, anglers often enjoy exceptional action throughout the day.
Depending on conditions and your group’s preferences, you may fish with light tackle or fly gear while targeting these incredible fish. The guides are always happy to share techniques and local knowledge to help anglers of all experience levels get the most out of their time on the water.
In addition to speckled trout, anglers may encounter other native species depending on the location and season, including sea-run brook trout and Arctic char. Surrounded by crystal-clear water, rugged terrain, and abundant wildlife, every moment of this trip feels like a true wilderness expedition.
After a full day of fishing, your floatplane will return to bring you back across the stunning Labrador landscape, offering another incredible aerial view of this remote and beautiful region before returning for the evening.
Many anglers choose to book multiple days to experience different remote fisheries throughout the area and maximize their time in this world-class fishery. Multi-day trips allow the team to explore additional lakes and rivers while giving anglers the best opportunity to connect with trophy fish.
