About Your Trip
If you're looking to experience the true charm of Florida’s Nature Coast, Captain Bradley’s trips out of Yankeetown and Crystal River are the way to go. With years of experience navigating these waters, Captain Bradley knows the best spots, tides, and techniques to get you on fish—whether you're exploring grass flats, spoil islands, or rock piles. From first-timers to seasoned anglers, everyone’s in for a great time aboard his well-equipped 27’ Sailfish center console.
The
4-hour trip, offered in both morning and afternoon, starts with a relaxing ride down the Withlacoochee River. Keep your eyes peeled for manatees, gators, bald eagles, and osprey before reaching the Gulf. Once you're in open water, you'll fish the grass flats for Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and Flounder, then work your way toward spoil islands and rocky bottom structures to target Black Drum, Redfish, and Snook. Depending on conditions, you may even get a shot at hooking into Tarpon. This trip offers just the right amount of time to experience the fishery, with a great mix of action and scenery.
For anglers wanting more time to explore and target a broader range of species, the 6-hour trip is an excellent choice—also available with morning and afternoon start times. With extra time, Captain Bradley can run to more productive spots between Yankeetown, Crystal River, and Cedar Key, giving you a shot at Grouper, Cobia, King Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, and Pompano. You'll use a variety of fishing techniques—light tackle, trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, and popping—to match the conditions and the bite. It’s a fast-paced, run-and-gun style trip that gives you more flexibility and a better chance to land something memorable.
The full-day 8-hour adventure is for those ready to go all-in. With the ability to run 30+ miles offshore, this trip opens the door to everything from inshore action to offshore structure. Whether you're drifting wrecks for Snapper, jigging for Grouper, or sight-casting to schools of Redfish or Tarpon, you’ll have the full arsenal of gear and tactics at your disposal. The extended time allows you to chase the bite wherever it’s happening that day, giving you the best odds at landing multiple species and trophy catches.
Every trip includes top-tier gear, rods, reels, tackle, live bait (shrimp, pinfish, and minnows depending on the target), and all necessary fishing licenses. A first mate is on hand for larger groups or longer days to keep things running smoothly, and fish cleaning is included at no extra charge. The boat is also stocked with ice, bottled water, and sodas to keep you cool. Just bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), snacks or lunch, and your favorite beverages—no glass or hard liquor, please.
With a well-rigged boat, a knowledgeable captain, and one of Florida’s most unique and productive fisheries at your fingertips, all that’s left is for you to hop on board and enjoy a day you won’t forget.
