About Your Trip

Most trips take place on the famous Salmon River, with opportunities to adjust locations based on where fish are most active.
Depending on the season, you’ll target salmon in the fall, followed by steelhead and brown trout through the winter and spring. These fisheries
are known for strong runs and hard-fighting fish, making every hookup memorable.
The Experience
These trips are hands-on and technique-driven, with a focus on helping you learn while staying on fish. You may use a mix of approaches throughout the day, including fly fishing, float fishing, back trolling, and casting lures or spinners depending on conditions.
Half day and full day trips follow a similar approach, with full days allowing for more time to cover water, adjust techniques, and stay locked in on the bite. Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, the trip is tailored to your comfort level and goals.
The Boat & Setup
You’ll fish from a 17’ Fish Rite drift boat, a proven setup for navigating river systems comfortably and efficiently. With space for up to 2 anglers, this is a fully personalized experience focused on maximizing time on the water.
All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided. Just be sure to bring a valid New York fishing license, along with weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, and any snacks or drinks you’d like for the day.
