Chris is a very knowledgeable captain that put us on some great fish! My husband and I both got keeper inshore slams. Reddish, trout and flounder!! What an awesome day!!!
Great trip with Captain Chris! Meet at the ramp, and he was ready to go with all the tackle, live bait and fishing spots. Caught numerous reds, flounder, trout and other fish. Able to fill up to cooler to take some home, and throw some back. Chris did a great job of explaining the different methods needed to catch them. He knew all the spots and where to go to catch the best fish. Will defiantly go again! …
We had a great time with Capt. Chris. We were after a mixed bag and Chris put us on every fish that we were after. We caught snook, trout, redfish and bass. Capt. Chris was very attentive to our needs and worked hard to make our day successful. My brother in law had very little experience in fishing and Capt. Chris did a great job of teaching him in an easy way. Chris was very knowledgeable of the Jacksonville area and he showed us various landmarks and interesting local facts and history that made our day interesting. During our day, I had a medical issue and Capt. Chris helped me in a calming professional way. I can’t say enough about our day. It was great!! …
We had such a great time with Captain Chris. We had a slow start to the day but Chris was able to put us on the fish and we ended up having a successful day on the water. Captain Chris knows this area so well, so if you want to have a great fishing experience in Jacksonville, he’s your man! …
I am 80 years old and had this gentleman captain take care of me as though I were family. He did all of the work and was polite and complementary. I caught tarpon and lost tarpon. He put us on them within 10 minutes of being on the water. What more could a fisherman want? …
New to the area, we were looking to get out on the St Johns and learn more about the river while (hopefully) catching some fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better first trip. Captain Chris provided great communication in setting up the trip, and he had everything ready for us when we arrived at the boat landing. He guided us to roughly eight different spots, or so, on the river during our 3/4 day trip, and we had bites on all but one catching Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Chris’s boat is kid-friendly (I’ll be returning with my daughter) and perfect for a two-person trip. A turn-key charter, he had all the tackle and live bait we needed for a productive day. He even offered to clean the fish for us once we returned to the landing. All in all a great day to remember! …
We caught Redfish, Trout and Largemouth Bass all in the first hour. My son landed the first fish off the day on his 2nd cast.
Took my son fishing for his 13th birthday! Captain Chris made it all worth while. Trout, Reds, mangrove and Snook. Highly recommend!!!
Was worried about rain but never happened. Chris, our captain, was just great. Took us all over the St. Johns in search of snook. Hooked one but broke off. Other than that caught a monster trout as well as several keeper red fish and almost too large trout. Highly recommend Chris. Plan to book another trip in the fall. …
