Hello, I am Captain Kyle and will be your guide and mate on the trips you book. I like to deal with customers personally, so I choose not to have a mate or second captain unless requested. When I moved to Pine Island many years ago, I worked on a commercial Grouper boat out of Fort Myers beach. I fished with Capt Jack, one of the pioneers in the area of commercial fishing. We would load up on his 40ft trawler with ice, bait, gear, and head out. We would sometimes be gone for several days at a time. When we would head out, our goal was thousands of pounds of fish to sell to the market. Commercial fishing was fun and a lot of hard work, I have many memories during those times.
