Born and raised in Eastern NC. Medical field for 42 years, while pursuing every species that swims our waters, from the back creeks of the Pamlico, Neuse, Trent, Bay River and acrossed the Sound to the Banks, to nearshore of the Crystal Coast and up the beach to Hatteras, to 120 miles offshore and everything in between. This year will also the 21st consecutive year in a row for me to Captain/Owner fish the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. I have 3 main vessels to Custom Charter every possibility for way up River to 100 miles offshore and everything in between. I’ve run trips for 35 years. On the side of course, but consistently. 60ish years old but in a 50ish body with a 40ish mentality. No drama, Fun at all times.

Experienced Eastern North Carolina Captain for over 40 years.

Retired from the Medical Field a year ago and now going nearly full time guiding. I’m experienced in everything from the rivers to 100 miles offshore and everything in between. I offer Custom Charters, meaning if you can imagine the trip, I’ve already done it many times and can guarantee a uniquely gratifying experience. Unless the weather is surprisingly challenging, I can always adjust to the conditions to salvage a trip. Let your imagination lead you.

I have 3 amazing vessels that offer a unique experience from the super shallow flats and beach access, to comfortable trolling, fishing, and ECO Tours. All Customizable to the clients needs and available all week for morning, midday, and sunset cruises. Pamlico, Craven, and Carteret Counties are ALL my backyard.

I love to teach techniques of fishing and local lore. I’ve raised 5 daughters and numerous sons to the blessings of the salt water. I love youngins and their parents and catering to the next generations of anglers and captains. Teaching everything I know and have experienced is an opportunity to leave a legacy. I’m a very young 60ish Captain and fell like I’ve got 30 more years to impart experiences and knowledge.
