This is our highest-tier, year-round offering for serious anglers with something to prove....... and (perhaps a hefty seafood appetite). First on the agenda is some trolling action. You will troll off-and-on throughout the day: first on the way to your first fishing spot, on your way back to Destin, and also on longer runs in between spots. We also sometimes switch to (or stay with) primarily trolling efforts if you catch your limit of your primary target-fish or if the trolling action just happens to be on fire, but the #1 objective overall is quality bottom fish for your whole group. On the 12 hour fishing trip, you can expect to be targeting a large variety of species, based on season and availability. On the trolling lines, we will be tempting the most highly desired top-water fish like King Mackerel, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Bonita, and more. When we arrive at the bottom-fishing spots, we will be hunting down any and all premium species that are in season- probably one or more of the many types of Grouper or the elite Red Snapper. You will likely also bring in some of the following: Vermillion Snapper (locally known as Mingo Snapper), White Snapper, Black Snapper, and Porgys. (This trip is popular with highly competitive groups, so let us know if you have one or more pots going so we can help your group keep track of who's winning!) You will begin by trolling on your way to your first fishing spot, during your return toward shore, and in between spots (when time allows between drops). A very popular trip, this option allows you to spend some quality time offshore chasing down some highly sought-after premier species, without breaking the bank or dedicating an entire day. If you're looking for an introduction to deep-sea fishing, this trip is perfect for you! Our shortest and most beginner-friendly option (available seasonally), this trip will get you around 15-20 miles offshore for some great fishing fun. You will troll to your first fishing spot and during your return to shore (and in between, time permitting), but your main focus will be bottom-fishing. Typically targetting species like Vermillion Snapper (Mingo Snapper), White Snapper, and Porgys, the casual angler can "usually" land these fish with minimal strain (but that doesn't mean you're catching small-fries).
