Join Captain Rick for a fun-filled inshore adventure in the scenic waters around Atlantic Beach! Originally from the Piedmont area of North Carolina, Captain Rick has fished the state’s lakes, rivers, and coastlines his entire life. What began as a passion for bass fishing and tournament competition evolved into a full-time guiding career when he moved to Carteret County in 2001.

With decades of experience and a track record of tournament wins—including first-place finishes in the IFA Redfish Series and the Swansboro Speckled Trout Tournament—Captain Rick knows how to find fish and keep the action going. Whether it’s Redfish, Speckled Trout, or Flounder, Rick puts his deep knowledge of fish patterns to work for every trip.

More than just a skilled angler, Captain Rick is a true people person who loves sharing his enthusiasm for the outdoors. Fishing out of Atlantic Beach or Swansboro—wherever the bite is hottest—you can expect a laid-back, laughter-filled day on the water with a guide who treats every guest like family.

We offer Inshore fishing charters for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Striped Bass, Black Drum, Sheep Head and Flounder. Three of these make up the North Carolina inshore slam, and if you are fortunate enough to catch all four that is the Super Slam.

We use a variety of both artificial and live bait to target these fish using some of the best tackle in the industry.
