Captain Doug has been fishing since he was 3 years old. For him, fishing is a lifelong passion that he loves to share. Whether it’s wade fishing with artificial baits or drifting with fresh bait, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others to help them grow as anglers! Doug has been fishing his whole life and has recently realized that the one thing he loves more than fishing himself is getting other people on fish!

While Doug is happy to take clients on any type of inshore fishing trip they would like, his specialty is taking clients on the hunt for Trophy Speckled trout. These trips require patience and intense attention to detail, all of which Doug has mastered over his fishing career.

One of Captain Doug's favorite places to fish for these trophy trout is the Upper Laguna Madre. The Upper Laguna Madre is known as one of the areas most productive Trophy Speckled Trout fisheries.
