I have spent my lifetime fishing. From "borrowing" row boats in the neighborhood as a child to take local campers fishing, to competitive fishing as an adult, my passion for fishing only grows. Fully licensed and insured, I guide anglers on the Tangier Sound and its tributaries, using light tackle and fishing in shallow waters. This makes me a bit unconventional, and I'm ok with that.

Simply put, we just want to take people fishing and share the fun, while showing off these beautiful waterways and all they have to offer

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

The biggest fish I've caught was a 95lb tarpon.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

I would cook a dinner we (my family and I) refer to as the "shit." It's a mixture of shrimp, potatoes, chicken, mushroom, peas, and rice cooked together in one dish on the grill.

What’s your favorite band?

My favorite band is Aerosmith.

My favorite movie is Casablanca.

What do you want for Christmas this year?

For Christmas this year, I would like insulated hunting bibs.

How did you get started guiding?

My guiding started at 13, when I stole a boat and took campers, staying across the lake from my home, fishing. I later found out that the gentleman I "stole" the boat from knew the entire time what I was up to.

What makes you different from other guides?

I'd say that would be my patience and my love of teaching others how to fish. I work extremely hard to make sure clients have the best experience I can give them. I don't know that that is different from any other guide that I know.
