Known as the Walleye Capital of the World, this stretch of water delivers world-class fishing and the kind of nonstop action that keeps anglers coming back year after year.
This 7-hour trip is built around targeting Walleye, and there’s no shortage of them—millions are caught in this area annually! Depending
on conditions and fish behavior, you’ll use a mix of techniques including trolling, drift fishing, live bait, light tackle, and artificial lures. Captain Joshua knows these waters inside and out and will get you locked into the most productive patterns for the day.
You’ll be fishing aboard a spacious and sturdy 30’ Island Hopper Pilothouse, powered by a 330 HP Cummins engine. This boat was built for serious Great Lakes fishing, with a large deck, generous hardtop for shelter, and a fully equipped restroom onboard. It comfortably accommodates up to six anglers and provides the perfect platform for both seasoned anglers and first-timers alike.
All rods, reels, bait, and tackle are provided—just show up with a valid Ohio fishing license, your favorite snacks and drinks (no glass, please), and a cooler if you plan on taking home your catch. At the end of the day, Captain Joshua offers fish cleaning for a small additional fee, so you can head home with fresh fillets ready for the grill.
