He got his passion from his grandfather, Papa Jack, who brought him up fishing out of Mamaroneck Harbor in New York. Captain Chris is also a Culinary Trained Chef (C.I.A Alumni), and spent many years working on super yachts, traveling all over the Caribbean and East Coast, cooking and fishing along the way. He loves to share his passion for fishing and great food with his clients!

How did you get started guiding?
Fishing has always been a big part of life form an early age . My grandfather Papa Jack used to take me fishing in Montauk , and fort Myers’s Florida . I absolutely Loved the Florida fishing and vowed to pick up where we left off. Right out of college moved to naples Florida fished with an inshore guide to learn all I could , and eventually got the opportunity to live in the keys working on a large yacht and sport fish with a great offshore fishing program. Did that for nearly 11 years where I acquired my license, and had the opportunity to fish from Dominican Republic, to bar harbor Maine , and everywhere in between .
What makes you different from other guides?
I absolutely love what I do . As much as I get pumped to catch a fish I really get pumped putting my clients on fish! Additionally I also offer catch and cook options , and free recipes as I also have a culinary background . I’m a generally positive person and truly enjoy every opportunity to share my passion for boating, fishing and cooking with everyone I can .

We had a great full day trip with Captain Chris. Chris really helped my wife with his patience and encouragement fight big fish in deep water and use lighter tackle at the shallower wreck. She landed nice yellowtail, yellow jack, mackerel and amberjack. Chris worked hard all day keeping us in fish and rigged as the shark tax was high though the morning. At the end of the day we got great local restaurant recommendations...

This was our 3rd trip with Chris that week. While all were memorable, this one ranks with a lifetime best. You can't control the fish, and as always, Chris put in maximum effort. However, on this day, the fish cooperated. My son landed a 45 pound Cobia, we had a couple large Mutton Snappers, a pair of King Mackerels, and a bonus Amberjack. Simply amazing day!
