Once the prerequisites were met, he went to “Sea school” to earn his Merchant Mariner Credentials (Captains License). Immediately following, Jake was offered a position with Coastal Chaos. Needless to say, he fit right in! For about 2 years he ran trips and built a stellar reputation and clientele for himself along with countless great reviews. I did not have Cameron as my guide due to a scheduling mix-up. I did have Josh as a fill-in and he did a fantastic job finding some nice redfish. Luckily, I had flexibility as far as my time and the afternoon trip worked out well.
My original request was for a fly fishing experience...Josh informed that this was not a viable option due to water conditions. All considered...it was a good day of...

Watching Brett and my brother work together to get this fish in wasspectacular. The team work that it took as well as the skill. He was also great for those of us that were less experienced. He was so pleasant and kind while helping me change my techniques so I caught fish verses continuously just feeding the fish. He did great with my teenage son. Brett is a great communicator. We will go with Brett again.
