Captain Cameron is a full-time U.S. Coast Guard certified 100 Ton Captain with plenty of experience in the Clearwater/Tampa Bay area. He’s a 4th generation Clearwater Floridian, so he knows the history of the area and is happy to share many stories with you along the way! Cameron has been fishing the waters off Clearwater since he was 3 years old, and had multiple family members who shared their passion of fishing with him, and guided him along the way. He purchased his first boat at the age of 14, and made extra money by selling bait to the local bait shops for money to pay for fishing trips with friends. After graduating high school in 2013, he found himself working on a fishing boat as a deckhand for the next 4 years. Whence the prerequisites were made, he went to “Sea school” to earn his 100 Ton Merchant Mariner Credential. I did not have Cameron as my guide due to a scheduling mix-up. I did have Josh as a fill-in and he did a fantastic job finding some nice redfish. Luckily, I had flexibility as far as my time and the afternoon trip worked out well.
My original request was for a fly fishing experience...Josh informed that this was not a viable option due to water conditions. All considered...it was a good day of...

We had Captain Brett for our day of fishing. What an amazing day we had. We caught multiple fish we could keep and multiple fish we couldn’t keep. We had the experience of seeing multiple species that we didn’t catch. We saw a bull shark, a Goliath Grouper, a loggerhead turtle, and a manatee. We hooked in to a giant. Watching Brett and my brother work together to get this fish in wasspectacular. The team work that it took as well as the skill. He was also great for those of us that were less experienced. He was so pleasant and kind while helping me change my techniques so I caught fish verses continuously just feeding the fish. He did great with my teenage son. Brett is a great communicator. We will go with Brett again.
